Processing features

The main equipment used is CNC lathes and Machining Centres. We always have the latest processing machines and inspection equipment in order to meet our customers’ requirements.
In addition, we have developed our own cutting tools and jigs based on the shape and material of the product, using our processing know-how cultivated through more than half a century of experience in cutting Plastics.
For this reason, we have succeeded in processing products of a high complexity that other companies have not been able to achieve.
※For mass-produced products, we use commercially available products or order blades from blade manufacturers in order to ensure constant quality.

Workflow

This is the flow of operations after receiving an order from the customer.
Depending on the shape and material, the process from primary processing to quality inspection may vary.

１ Material management

Our company has stock materials ready to produce at least 100-minute range, enabling us to respond to short delivery times.
In addition, materials are controlled by lot to enable tracing defects in the event that they occur.
To compensate for product distortions and to increase machining accuracy, we often apply centerless machining.

２ Primary processing

We use CNC lathes and other machines that we have customized for Plastic processing. Our accumulated know-how and experience in Plastic cutting since the company’s foundation has enabled us to reduce losses and processing time.

３ Cleaning and drying

The oil and chips from the machining process are cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner and then dried.

４ Secondary processing

Polishing, back surface machining and complex hole machining using tapping centers are carried out using different machining equipment to the primary machining. In addition, jigs and round bites can be made in-house, which makes it possible to carry out more efficient and delicate operations.

５ Quality inspection

In accordance with the agreements made with our customers, we carry out quality inspections using a variety of measuring instruments. The products are systematically controlled so that any defective products can be traced immediately.

６ Packaging

We carefully pack our products according to the customer’s requirements in accordance with quantity and shape.

Plastic materials and properties

The choice of material for Plastic machined parts is based on the properties of the Plastic material. The following are some examples of commonly used materials

Material name Properties
4F PTFE (Fluoride) Very good chemical stability and electrical properties. Slightly lower hardness. Good machinability, insulation, and heat resistance. Used for insulating parts in various fields and as a material for parts that require heat and corrosion resistance. Some materials have fillers such as carbon or glass fiber to increase the impact force.
Polyacetal Excellent insulation, heat resistance, chemical resistance, and hardness. The cost of the material is lower than that of 4F, so it is used in many fields as an insulating material.
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) Two types, grey and transparent. Slightly lacking in heat resistance, but with good water resistance, it is used as a material for pipes and joint parts for fluids. It also has good workability and insulation properties.
3F PCTFE (Fluoride) The cost of the material is high, but it has excellent insulation and impact resistance. It is also extremely resistant to acids, alkalis and other chemicals and is therefore used as a material for pipes and joint parts for various fluids.
Polycarbonate Excellent in heat and impact resistance. Polycarbonate has low shrinkage and good dimensional stability. It is also resistant to water. Not so good in machinability.
Acrylic Transparent, so you can see what's inside. It is highly resistant to water and is used for pipes and prototypes for various fluids.
Nylon Flexible and resistant to breakage. Nylon is used for packing and other applications due to its resistance to water.
